What support does Kazagrofinance JSC provide for the country’s agricultural producers

The purchase of more than 6 thousand units of equipment for the country's agricultural producers was financed by KazAgroFinance JSC of the Baiterek holding. A press tour to one of the farms that received such state support took place recently in the Akmola region, reports  Business Kazakhstan .

“As of September 21, 2021, KazAgroFinance JSC received applications from the country’s agricultural producers in the amount of 161.9 billion tenge, of which 6,477 units of equipment were financed in the amount of 124 billion tenge,” KAF representatives noted.

One of the enterprises that received funding support is Kamyshenka LLP. The farm has been working with the Akmola branch of KazAgroFinance JSC since 2012. During the period of service at the KAF branch, in order to update the machine and tractor fleet, the enterprise purchased equipment worth 930 million tenge.

The main direction of the farm's work is the production and sale of crop and livestock products. The total area of arable land is 18,622 hectares, of which about 12 thousand hectares are sown. The main cultivated crops are grains and fodder. Livestock farming is represented by the dairy sector, consisting of 600 heads of breeding stock, and the total livestock on the farm is 1,500 heads of cattle.

In 2021, Kamyshenka LLP entered into a financial leasing agreement with KazAgroFinance JSC of the Baiterek holding in the amount of 262.2 million tenge for the purchase of a forage harvester.

“This has become especially important this year in conditions of extreme heat in the republic and a shortage of feed,” note representatives of Kamyshenka LLP.

In general, the harvesting campaign is nearing completion in the main grain-growing regions of our country. According to information from the Department of Agriculture of the Akimat of the Akmola region, the total area of grain and leguminous crops in the region is 4.5 million hectares. As of September 20, 4.3 million hectares or 95.7 percent have already been threshed.
