The amount of loans for which KazAgroFinance will write off the penalty

According to information from the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market, as of May 1, 2024, the list of those affected by the spring floods and floods included 145 borrowers of KazAgroFinance JSC, of which 44 submitted applications for restructuring, extension and write-off of penalties.

The press service of KazAgroFinance JSC clarified that the most requests came from the Aktobe region - 24 applications totaling 85.9 million tenge, then the Kostanay region - 13 requests totaling 50.5 million tenge, West Kazakhstan region - 6 appeals in the amount of 37.2 million tenge and the North Kazakhstan region - 1 appeal in the amount of 44.4 million tenge.

The total amount of loans and credits for which penalties are expected to be written off reaches 218 million tenge.

Earlier, KazAgroFinance JSC reported that the company would provide farmers with a deferment on payments without charging a penalty.
