KazAgroFinance continues to accept applications for extension from farmers affected by adverse weather conditions

Losses of grain crops this year have become an acute problem for farmers in the Pavlodar region, forcing them to face financial difficulties. Since August of this year, KazAgroFinance JSC has been providing restructuring/extension of financial leasing agreements to farmers due to unfavorable weather conditions.

To date, the branch of KazAgroFinance JSC in the Pavlodar region has received 33 applications from farmers affected by drought. Of these, 3 applications have already been approved, and the remaining applications are actively being processed by the company's branch.

“KazAgroFinance supported us in difficult times. The extension of the loan for our farm allowed us to maintain stability and continue working even after harvest losses,” - Head of the Vesna farm, Anatoly Vladimirovich Filipishin, one of those who applied for the extension.

The Company has also worked on the issue of considering the Borrower’s request for an extension/restructuring in a simplified format with a truncated package of documents in the event of force majeure circumstances, including such circumstances as floods, a state of emergency, emergency situation, adverse natural phenomena, drought.

As of October 11, 2023, the Company received applications from 78 agricultural producers affected by drought and excessive rainfall (68 written applications and 10 oral applications) in the amount of 5.3 billion tenge. Clients request payment deferrals for both 3 months and 1 year. The maximum requested periods for deferments are satisfied.

Previously, the Company announced the start of a campaign to write off penalties, and also provided the opportunity to lease agricultural equipment for feed production with a deferred advance payment until March 1, 2024, as part of the “Own Feed” program.

KazAgroFinance continues to provide support to farmers facing difficulties due to unfavorable weather conditions. During this difficult period, the company confirms its readiness to help rural entrepreneurs overcome economic difficulties.
