As of August 23, the KazAgroFinance company   (a subsidiary of the Baiterek holding) received applications from farmers to finance the purchase of agricultural equipment in the amount of  162 billion tenge. Of these, the purchase of  6,301  units of equipment worth  120.4 billion tenge has already been financed . This was reported by the CAF press service.

To assess the effectiveness of the support provided, KazAgroFinance organized a press tour in the North Kazakhstan region. In particular, since 2008, the group of companies ASTYK-STEM LLP has been working with the regional branch of KAF. Over the past few years, the company has purchased equipment worth  1,776 million tenge. 

“In 2021, leasing agreements were concluded with KazagroFinance JSC in the amount of  640 million tenge, including for irrigation equipment - sprinkler systems, which became relevant this year in conditions of extreme heat in many regions of the republic,” said KazAgroFinance.

"ASTYK-STEM", organized in 2002, cultivates  9,829 hectares  of arable land, cultivating grains, oilseeds and fodder crops. The company is also developing dairy livestock farming: the farm contains  500  heads of breeding cattle.

The farm also pays great attention to growing vegetables. With the help of KazAgroFinance, the company purchased drip irrigation equipment and sprinklers to obtain good yields of potatoes and carrots. The introduction of such technologies makes it possible to produce up to  100 tons  of carrots per hectare.

According to information from the Department of Agriculture of the North Kazakhstan region, the total area of ​​grain crops in the region is  2,994 thousand hectares. As of September 5,  1 million 829 thousand hectares  or  61.1% have already been threshed .
