KazAgroFinance Resumes Another Preferential Leasing Program

JSC KazAgroFinance announces the resumption of its preferential leasing program for agricultural machinery at an annual interest rate of 6%. This measure is aimed at supporting farmers seeking to upgrade their equipment fleet with minimal financial burden, the company’s press service reports.

The program provides for leasing of self-propelled machinery of domestic production and assembly—tractors and combine harvesters—under favorable terms: with no down payment and a financing period of up to 10 years.

“Farmers have been waiting for this program to return. We have preserved its key advantages: a 6% annual interest rate, no collateral requirement, and a first lease payment of 0%. This is real support for those who work the land,” said Aidar Prashev, Chairman of the Management Board of KazAgroFinance JSC.

Financing is available for the purchase of up to three units of equipment per client, with a maximum amount of up to 205 million tenge.

KazAgroFinance clarified that this program differs from the already well-known “Preferential Leasing” program at 5% per annum, which continues to operate. The latter is targeted at all farmers, regardless of the size of their operations—from smallholders to large agribusinesses. While it offers a lower interest rate, it comes with certain conditions: a maximum term of 7 years and a minimum down payment of 10%. It also includes a grace period for repayment of the principal debt until the end of 2025.

The 6% leasing program is designed for agricultural producers who rely on essential machinery—tractors and combines—require long-term planning, and seek to avoid upfront costs. The offer is particularly relevant for small and medium-sized farms that may not have the resources for an advance payment or collateral, but have an urgent need for modern equipment to carry out fieldwork.
