Kazakhstani farmers have the opportunity to purchase agricultural machinery under favorable leasing conditions. JSC "KazAgroFinance," a member of the Baiterek Holding group of companies, has started accepting applications for the preferential program "Made in Kazakhstan" for the purchase of domestically produced machinery and vehicles, according to the company's press service.

The "Made in Kazakhstan" program was first launched in April 2020 at the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Among KazAgroFinance's programs, it is considered one of the most in-demand. This is due to special conditions that allow farmers to acquire machinery at a preferential rate of 6%, with a long financing term of up to 10 years and a low down payment of 15% of the leasing item's value.

In 2024, under the "Made in Kazakhstan" program, farmers leased 336 units of machinery worth 10.5 billion tenge. Tractors and combines were in the highest demand. In total, since the program's inception, agribusinesses have acquired more than two thousand units of agricultural equipment.

In 2025, JSC "KazAgroFinance" has maintained the same conditions for the "Made in Kazakhstan" program.

"In order to support domestic production, farmers have access to domestically produced/assembled agricultural machinery and vehicles under preferential conditions: a financing term of up to 10 years (compared to 7 years in other programs), a preferential interest rate of 6%, and a down payment starting from 15%. The first leasing payment can also be made using subsidies," the official statement reads.

It is worth noting that the "Preferential Leasing" program is also in effect this year. Farmers can purchase agricultural machinery at an annual rate of 5%, for a term of up to 7 years, with the option to defer the first leasing payment until December 1, 2025. A total of 200 billion tenge has been allocated for this program.

Applications for the "Made in Kazakhstan" and "Preferential Leasing" programs can be submitted via the Telegram bot at the following link: https://t.me/kaz_agro_finance_bot. After submitting an application, clients must provide a complete set of documents to a branch of JSC "KazAgroFinance" within 5 business days.
