State support for farmers: the first lease payment is deferred until December 1, 2025.

AO "KazAgroFinance" has announced changes to the preferential agricultural equipment leasing program at 5%, which started in 2024. According to the new conditions, farmers can make the first lease payment no later than December 1, 2025, the company's press service reports.

A record 200 billion tenge has been allocated this year for the implementation of the preferential leasing program for the purchase of Kazakhstani agricultural machinery. Financing conditions remain attractive: farmers can acquire agricultural equipment at an interest rate of 5% per annum, for a period of up to 7 years, with the possibility of deferring the first lease payment until December 1, 2025.

"Spring fieldwork has begun in Kazakhstan. It is important for farmers to focus on conducting fieldwork. The deferral of the first payment will allow them to gain additional time to stabilize their financial situation and make the first lease payment using funds earned after the harvest," said Aidar Prashev, Chairman of the Board of AO "KazAgroFinance."

The preferential leasing program was first launched in 2024 in Kazakhstan and has proven to be effective. At that time, 120 billion tenge was allocated for its implementation. More than 2,800 farmers took advantage of government support and acquired 4,300 units of agricultural machinery. The most in-demand equipment included tractors – 2,645 units worth 50.2 billion tenge, and combines – 649 units worth 58.7 billion tenge.

Overall, the total volume of leasing in 2024 increased by 31% compared to the same period in 2023. This significant growth became possible due to the implementation of preferential leasing programs initiated by the Head of State. By the end of 2024, farmers had purchased more than 10,500 units of machinery worth 228.5 billion tenge.

It should be noted that 73% of the total financed machinery consists of Kazakhstani-made equipment.

The company will continue its work to provide the agro-industrial complex of Kazakhstan with affordable and modern equipment, contributing to food security and the economic growth of the country.
