On October 22, 2024, the Board of Directors of KazAgroFinance JSC considered and approved new terms of financing of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for agricultural needs. In conditions of growing competitiveness and technologization of agribusiness in Kazakhstan, the introduction of UAVs is becoming a key element to increase productivity and efficiency of agricultural production. This is reported by the company's press service.

Speaking at the panel session “Revolution of agrodrones” within the framework of KazAgro-KazFarm 2024 exhibition Deputy Chairman of the Board of KazAgroFinance JSC Erkebulan Zhumzhaev noted that the company is preparing a new leasing offer for agricultural producers.

It is planned to finance the purchase of agrodrones in leasing in two variants.

The first option - leasing on market conditions, where the rate is 21.75%, with a term of up to 5 years and advance payment of 20%. The second option is preferential terms with the application of the installment mechanism, where the rate is only 5% and the term is a minimum of 3 years.

“Today we are on the threshold of technological changes, and the use of drones in agriculture opens new horizons for the agro-industrial complex of the country. UAVs are perfect for monitoring crops, applying agrochemicals and analyzing the condition of fields, allowing to significantly save time and resources”, - said Deputy Chairman of the Board of KazAgroFinance JSC Erkebulan Zhumzhaev.

In addition, he said, alternative financing options will be available at rates of 9% and 12%, making the purchase of UAVs more affordable for farmers. Installment payments from the supplier can be up to 80% of the cost of the drones, significantly reducing upfront costs.

“The introduction of UAVs in agriculture is a step into the future, which will help not only to improve production efficiency, but also to create guarantees of sustainable growth of Kazakhstan's economy,” he emphasized.
