Farms in East Kazakhstan Oblast financed to purchase equipment worth almost 4 billion tenge

On August 27, 2024, a press tour for journalists to Tamirlan i K LLP and the Semena Maslichnykh peasant farm was held in the Glubokovsky district of the East Kazakhstan region.

TOO "Tamirlan and K" specializes in growing wheat, barley and sunflower. 2000 hectares are sown with grain and 1000 hectares are sown with sunflower. The enterprise has up to 20 units of equipment, including 4 combines.

"Precipitation this year played its role and the conditions were favorable, we managed to collect a little more than 40 centners of barley. The same amount of wheat is being collected. The enterprise uses 3 combines, all of them were purchased through JSC KazAgroFinance, mainly John Deere and CLAAS. Now we are switching more to Claas," said Rustam Zhambussinov, General Director of Tamirlan and K LLP.

Over the entire period of cooperation with JSC KazAgroFinance, the company purchased agricultural machinery for a total of more than 700 million tenge.

The Semena Maslichnykh peasant farm is a seed farm; in 2024, they purchased a combine harvester under the 5% Preferential Leasing program.

The farm's agricultural land area is about 4 thousand hectares. The land use structure of "Oilseeds" includes spring and winter wheat, winter rye, barley, sunflower, peas, buckwheat, and flax.

"In addition to the propagation of Siberian seeds, the farm has its own breeding laboratory, where new hybrids and varieties are developed. To date, 4 hybrids and 1 variety of sunflower are registered in the register of Kazakhstan. Also this year, we zoned 1 variety of flax and the Azur variety. Today, our developments are in high and constant demand," emphasized the head of the farm, Lyudmila Tsybenko.

The production base of "Oilseeds" includes warehouses, a repair shop, a drying facility, and a mechanized threshing floor equipped with modern equipment.

"We have been cooperating with JSC KazAgroFinance since 2004, during this period we have acquired 16 units of machinery and equipment, including 6 combines. The last 2 CLAAS combines were taken under the "Preferential Leasing 5%" program. In the region, we were among the first to take Vector combines through JSC KazAgroFinance," said the general director of the Semena Maslichnykh peasant farm.

Today, the yield of grain and sunflower is from 33 centners to 45 centners per hectare. At current rates, the quality of the grain is very high.

These enterprises are among the most successful in the East Kazakhstan region, which are monitoring the renewal of their agricultural machinery fleet.

"Under the Preferential Leasing program, farmers can purchase agricultural machinery for 7 years at 5%. The goal of the program is to update the technical condition of agricultural machinery. In total, the region has financed the purchase of more than 100 units of machinery for a total of about 4 billion tenge," said Maksat Baygildy, director of the East Kazakhstan Region branch of KazAgroFinance JSC.
