Kassym-Jomart Tokayev heard a report on the results of the holding’s activities for 2022 and plans for the coming period. The President was presented with proposals to support entrepreneurship, the agro-industrial complex and provide housing for the population.

The head of state was reported on the holding’s record net profit for 2022 in the amount of 350 billion tenge, which is five times the result of 2020 and three times the result of 2021.

At the end of last year, Baiterek structures financed 238 major projects and leasing transactions for 685 billion tenge. As part of supporting small and medium-sized businesses, 50.5 thousand projects worth about 1.5 trillion tenge were subsidized.

According to the data presented to the President, the subjects of the agro-industrial complex were financed by 522 billion tenge against the plan of 432 billion tenge.

Kanat Sharlapaev also reported that, as part of providing the population with housing, preferential mortgage loans were issued for a total amount of about 1.4 trillion tenge, guarantees for shared construction were provided for 211.8 billion tenge, and the construction of credit housing was financed by akimats for 176.4 billion tenge. Thus, due to support tools, over 2.2 million square meters were put into operation. meters of housing, 79,865 families improved their living conditions through mortgage lending.

The head of state focused on the importance of further support for small and medium-sized businesses. He also pointed out the need for Baiterek’s active participation in strengthening the export potential and development of the country’s agro-industrial complex.
