The head of state was informed about the activities of the holding for 2021 and plans for the coming period. In 2021, 37 major projects received support in the amount of 533.2 billion tenge, and 7 more projects were put into operation. 57.4 thousand small and medium-sized businesses received support in the amount of 2.2 trillion tenge. 236.8 billion tenge was directed to support domestic exporters.

According to the data presented to the President, as part of the development of the agro-industrial complex, more than 26,000 loans were issued for a total of 464.2 billion tenge.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed that in 2021, about 130,000 families purchased housing or improved their living conditions. In addition, as of January 1, 2022, 458,000 depositors benefited from lump-sum pension payments in the amount of more than 1.97 trillion tenge.

Kanat Sharlapaev spoke in detail about the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State to reform the Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC and change in the composition of its management.

In addition, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev heard information about the holding's plans for the current year to develop micro and small businesses, introduce a mechanism to subsidize part of the rent for socially vulnerable segments of the population. During the meeting, measures were also discussed to expand state support for job creation.
