Rely on Kazagrofinance, and don’t make a mistake yourself

The harvest season at Kamyshenka LLP was almost completed - by the time the journalists arrived, the last square of the fields was being harvested on the farm.

It is no secret that this agricultural enterprise is one of the strongest not only in the Astrakhan region, but also in the region. Founded in 2005, it successfully develops both basic agricultural areas - crop production and livestock farming. If we talk about the second, then its specialization is milk production, and here, as you know, the main task is to increase milk yield from each cow and from the entire dairy herd, which is 1000 heads in general.

There are several ways to solve this important problem, one of them is breeding highly productive cattle. This is what the Kamyshe residents chose: they carried out a large-scale culling of the milking livestock, brought in Simmental and black-and-white Holstein breeds, those that are easier to adapt to our climate and, with proper care, consistently produce high milk yields. The costs of their maintenance have decreased significantly, and the returns have increased. The sales market has long been established - from here the milk is sent to the North Kazakhstan plant “Eurasian Milk”.

Today, the total area of arable land is more than 18 thousand hectares, of which about 15 are sown with grains, legumes, and fodder crops. “Mainly, of course, it is wheat, then barley, peas, the rest is corn, Sudanese, there are water meadows. This year for us, as well as for other farmers, was difficult due to lack of moisture, but thanks to the technologies we use and competent organization of labor, we were able to harvest a good harvest: grain - about 12 centners per hectare, feed, for example, corn - at the same level.

We didn’t make a mistake in the timing of the sowing: we started later than usual - on May 16 and finished on June 5, in the end the strategy was justified: others’ early seedlings suffered, but ours did not. We are also satisfied with the quality characteristics of the grain. We work with four varieties of wheat, both European and Kazakh selection. I can confidently say that the best result is shown by “Shortandinskaya 95 improved” - this is a mid-late variety with high yield, drought resistance, given the current hot summer, this is an important characteristic. Add here a good gluten content,” says Aibek Kabziev, executive director of LLP.

Of course, everyone who is at least a little familiar with agriculture knows that only a skillful approach gives results: this is a soil cultivation system, and, importantly, modern technology. “Currently we have 15 grain harvesters, 2 forage harvesters, and about 20 MTZ tractors. We try to update our machine and tractor fleet every year; this year, for example, we purchased a Krone forage harvester on lease through KazAgroFinance JSC of the Baiterek holding company.” , he explains. The interlocutor does not hide: working with this financial organization is convenient, and, most importantly, profitable, and what else does a farmer need?

It must be said that the Kamyshe residents have been cooperating with the branch of Kazagrofinance JSC in the Akmola region since 2012, and during this time they managed to purchase agricultural equipment for a total amount of about a billion tenge.

“One of the first joint projects was the supply of 400 head of Simmental heifers from Europe, and then we began to cooperate in leasing agricultural equipment,” says its director Abay Zhunusov. — Thus, the farm purchased Essil machines, last year two CLAAS grain harvesters, this year a high-tech forage harvester, which in conditions of extreme heat became a great help for the LLP.

We work on mutually beneficial terms and are very productive. Taking into account the volume of investments, Kamyshenka is considered one of our bona fide partners. In general, there are over five hundred agricultural enterprises in the region - our active borrowers. This year, the amount of financing amounted to more than 18 billion tenge; already in the current sowing and harvesting campaigns, about 130 new combines, 90 units of tractors, 70 sowing complexes, not counting various auxiliary units, were involved.

The equipment is presented by the most popular domestic and foreign manufacturers, including those from Kokshetau LLP “Kazakhstan Agro Innovation Corporation”. We focus more on the needs of farmers; they often come to us with a ready-made request.”
