Contribution to fleet renewal

The other day, KazAgroFinance JSC, a subsidiary of the Baiterek holding, held a press tour on the financing of Astyk-STEM LLP in the Taiynshinsky district of the North Kazakhstan region.

The Asyk-STEM LLP group of companies has been cooperating with KazAgroFinance in Northern Kazakhstan since 2008. Over the past few years, in order to update the company’s machine and tractor fleet, equipment worth 1 billion 776 million tenge has been purchased. Among them, in 2021, leasing agreements were concluded with KazAgroFinance in the amount of 640 million tenge, including equipment for irrigation - “drip systems”. This was very useful in conditions of severe drought in many regions of the republic this year.

The limited liability company “Asyk-STEM” itself was created in 2002, the total area of its fields is 9,829 hectares, it mainly grows grain crops, as well as oilseeds and fodder crops. The herd consists of 500 hooves of dairy cattle.

Speaking at the press tour, the head of ASTYK-STEM LLP Sergey Zvolsky expressed gratitude for the work of his institute “KazAgroFinance”.

“Through this financial company we are able to purchase quality equipment. Among them, this year we received drip irrigation equipment. As a result, even in a dry year, we received a high yield of potatoes and carrots. The carrot yield per hectare has even reached 100 tons, and we expect the same yield from potatoes,” he said.

It is known that KazAgroFinance was created in 2000 as a financial institution providing leasing services for the purchase of machinery and equipment for agricultural producers. The company has been successfully operating for more than 20 years, contributing to the development of technical equipment in the country's agricultural sector. Over the years, the company has become popular among farmers. Since March 2021, it has become part of JSC National Management Holding Baiterek.

Currently, the Baiterek holding continues to work on the reorganization of subsidiaries of the agro-industrial block on behalf of the Head of State. There may also be changes in the financial institution that will benefit farmers. That is why the KazAgroFinance company and its branches, despite the pandemic, conduct their work openly and efficiently and actively lease out equipment to farmers. This year alone, the company financed the purchase of more than 6 thousand units of equipment. These are tractors, combines, planting systems, etc. for example, the techniques needed for agriculture. The company has 14 branches in all regions.

The company's volume of investments in agriculture for the entire period of activity amounted to 1,031.6 billion tenge, which is 77% of the volume of investments made outside the budget.

It should be noted that to date, farmers of the North Kazakhstan region have harvested more than 60 percent of all 3 million hectares of sown areas. During a press tour of the Tayinshi region, he took journalists to the grain fields and showed the vibrant life. Half of all grain is collected here.
