How farmers work in Akmola region
Since the Akmola region is an agricultural region, most often farmers lease tractors and combines, as well as mounted and trailed equipment. In the region, KazAgroFinance JSC purchased more than 7,000 units of equipment worth more than 100 billion tenge.
During the Field Day, we talked with entrepreneurs, representatives of peasant farms and suppliers of machinery and equipment to find out how they overcome difficulties in their work.
Director of Osana-Agro LLP from the Zharkainsky district, Igor Pugachev, said that they are sowing 30 thousand hectares of durum wheat of the first and second reproduction.
“Very strong support for agriculture comes from the state. Especially through the leasing services of KazAgroFinance JSC. In 2012, we purchased 6 JohnDeer and Claas sowing complexes through them. We are satisfied with everything: the attitude of the Akmola branch towards us, the financing rates, especially since the state provides significant support through subsidies. With this approach, we will grow, develop digitalization, and bring profit to ourselves, people and our independent Kazakhstan.”The businessman called one of the important tools the “Master Leasing” credit line, thanks to which you can purchase equipment as needed.
Nurzhan Nurmaganov, representing the German manufacturer ST AGRO GmbH, spoke about the convenience of selling equipment through government instruments.
“One of KazAgroFinance’s requirements for manufacturers is the availability of warranty service, which we comply with. We provide comprehensive services, including staff training. Our equipment will not provide the performance inherent in it if the specialist operating it is not trained,” the interlocutor outlined the company’s approach.According to him, they do not divide clients into large and small. They work with everyone, since a wide product segment allows you to select equipment with the required performance, based on the capacity of the farm itself.
One of the successful farms in the Korgalzhyn district is Agrofirm Zher 888 LLP, which has a cultivated area of 7 thousand hectares and has been operating for 18 years.
“Since 2012, we have been lending through KazAgroFinance and have not had a single delay. We are satisfied with the company's approach to work and financing conditions. First, we purchased high-performance Challenger combines through KAF. Thanks to them, wheat was harvested by dumping last year,” says director Abai Medeubaev. Then, seeding complexes were purchased through leasing. At the same time, the entrepreneur said that over 7 years of working with KazAgroFinance, their LLP has proven itself - applications are considered quickly, a decision is made quickly to approve financing.
We talked about the need for leasing for vegetable growers with the regional representative for the Akmola and North Kazakhstan regions of the German company Agrotes, Yuri Babintsev. According to him, in order to grow, say, potatoes, an entrepreneur needs to purchase specialized equipment worth 700-800 thousand euros. And in such cases you need to resort to the help of leasing companies.
“Our main projects are carried out through KazAgroFinance, because the conditions are convenient and general issues are easier to resolve. Many clients have open lines of credit. In addition, now the remuneration rate will be subsidized by up to 10% - this will be a good help for farmers,” says Yuri Babintsev.
At the same time, it is easy for Agrotec to meet the requirements of KazAgroFinance as a supplier of equipment by providing service.
“Our main focus is equipment for growing potatoes and vegetables, irrigation machines, warehouse, grain, harvesting and field processing equipment. That is, covering the entire spectrum of agricultural areas. Maintenance of sold equipment is provided by service mechanics trained in Europe. We have service centers and spare parts warehouses throughout Kazakhstan in large cities,” says the representative.
