KazAgro cooperates with Russian machine builders in agricultural machinery. The Forum in Sochi.

Since 2001, about 8 thousand units of various agricultural machinery and equipment totaling 140 billion tenge have been delivered to the Republic of Kazakhstan from the Russian Federation through the KazAgro National Holding. This was stated during the XII Forum of interregional cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan, which is taking place in Sochi today, Chairman of the Board of JSC KazAgro Holding Nurlybek Malelov said. As the head of the Kazakhstan Development Institute noted, cooperation in this direction with manufacturers of agricultural machinery and equipment in Russia is conducted by a subsidiary of the KazAgro National Holding, KazAgroFinance JSC. By now, the products of Russian machine builders account for 23% of the total volume of equipment supplied by the company to Kazakhstan. In general, through the National Holding KazAgro, the purchase of more than 33 thousand units of agricultural machinery and equipment by farms and agricultural formations of the republic was financed, which is more than 55% of the total volume of equipment supplied to the country. The main strategic partners of the Holding for the supply of processing equipment and machinery are such large companies as Rostselmash Combine Plant LLC, Agromashholding LLC, Chetra Vostok LLC, Clover NGO, St. Petersburg Tractor Plant CJSC, Agrisgaz LLC, Agro NGO. Speaking about the potential for mutually beneficial cooperation, Nurlybek Malelov noted that it is quite large. According to him, due to the active development of the agro–industrial complex of the republic, Kazakhstan's projected need for agricultural machinery by 2020 is about 10 thousand units in combines, tractors – more than 60 thousand, seeders - 75 thousand, harvesters 7 thousand units. "All this creates prerequisites for continuing joint work in terms of ensuring the supply of equipment to Kazakhstan, as well as the search for new partners to create joint assembly plants in the country. We already have positive experience in creating joint machine-building productions with the Russian company Rostselmash Combine Plant LLC, for the assembly of Vektor combines, as well as Kamaz PJSC for the assembly of KAMAZ trucks and trailers," said the head of KazAgro National Holding. Recall that on September 16, 2015, Sochi hosts the XII Forum of interregional cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan, which is attended by the Presidents of the two countries Vladimir Putin and Nursultan Nazarbayev. The theme of the forum is "Cooperation in the field of agro-industrial complex and ensuring food security". The forum will discuss topical issues of Russian-Kazakh relations and integration cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union and other regional associations. The program of the forum's events also provides for the holding of a specialized exhibition "Prospects for Russian-Kazakh cooperation in the field of agro-industrial complex", a meeting of the Russian-Kazakh Business Council for cross-border cooperation, and a bilateral youth forum. It is planned to sign a number of joint documents, including cooperation agreements between the Russian and Kazakh regions. KazAgro National Managing Holding JSC implements the state policy on the development of the agro-industrial complex of Kazakhstan by ensuring effective management of investment assets of companies included in its structure.
