The products of the new meat processing complex in the West Kazakhstan Region were exported

The next project financed through the KazAgro National Holding has entered into working mode and has begun the formation of the first export batch of products. We are talking about the new meat processing complex of Batys Mark Lamb LLP in the West Kazakhstan region, which began slaughtering cattle for shipment to the Republic of Uzbekistan. However, the main export direction targeted by the Kazakh enterprise is the markets of the main cities of Russia - Moscow and St. Petersburg. Even before the end of this year, according to the agreement with the Russian partner, the company plans to ship mutton towards its northern neighbor. The project to create a meat processing complex with the production of block meat and large-sized cuts in vacuum packaging with a capacity of 1,400 heads of small cattle (MRC) per day was funded by KazAgroFinance, a development institute in the structure of the KazAgro National Holding. The company invested about 2.2 billion tenge in the facility, which was implemented as part of the holding's investment program. The company has installed the equipment of the Italian company "Rovani SrL". The high-tech line allows for a full production cycle - from slaughtering and deboning to deep freezing and packaging. According to Bakhytzhan Keskinbayev, director of Batys Mark Lamb LLP, under a long-term contract with partners from Uzbekistan, the company will ship 100-150 tons of mutton to the south. Currently, products under the brand name "Lamb BRAND" are sold on the local market, as well as in the Almaty region. As the head of the enterprise pointed out, cattle for the meat processing complex are purchased in five nearby districts, whose farms contain more than 60 percent of the sheep out of the total million of their livestock in the region. The launch of the meat processing plant's production lines made it possible to train and employ 80 local residents. The production says that with full capacity and expansion of exports to the Russian direction, the staff will be increased to 150 people. The meat processing complex of Batys Mark Lamb LLP is one of 529 investment projects that are being implemented today by KazAgro National Holding in the agro-industrial complex of the republic. Their combined cost is 325.1 billion tenge. With the construction and commissioning of these projects, it is expected to create 16.4 thousand jobs. Of all KazAgro's investment projects, 418 projects with a total cost of 234.5 billion tenge and the creation of 12.8 thousand jobs have been financed and put into production today. At the same time, 56 investment projects with a total value of 13.5 billion tenge were commissioned in the current 2015. In general, since the beginning of this year, the total amount of financing of the agro-industrial complex by KazAgro National Holding amounted to 205.2 billion tenge. Of this amount, the holding has allocated 168.2 billion tenge for lending to agricultural entities, and 36.99 billion tenge for the purchase of agricultural products.
