KazAgroFinance will attract 20 billion tenge in Islamic investments for Kazakhstani farmers.

KazAgroFinance JSC, a member of the Baiterek National Management Holding group of companies, and the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The signing took place on the sidelines of the IsDB Group Annual Meetings 2026 – the annual meeting of the Islamic Development Bank Group, a key international platform for Islamic finance, uniting development institutions and governments of dozens of member states.
The agreement gives KazAgroFinance JSC access to Islamic financing in the amount of up to 20 billion tenge. The funds will be used exclusively to support Kazakhstan's farmers, including financing the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment and upgrading fixed assets.
"Access to capital is one of the key factors determining the pace of development in the agricultural sector. Our goal is to support domestic farmers and thereby stimulate the economy. This agreement provides such an opportunity, and we will continue to expand our support tools for Kazakhstan's agricultural industry," noted Rustam Abdusalamov, Independent Director and Member of the Board of Directors of KazAgroFinance JSC.
The company's clients will receive financing through the Ijarah Islamic leasing mechanism on attractive, preferential terms. All transaction parameters are determined in advance, are fixed for the entire term of the agreement, and fully comply with the strict ethical standards of Islamic finance.
