The 13th Forum of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan: A New Vector for Agricultural Leasing Development

A session dedicated to modern trends in agricultural machinery manufacturing was held on the sidelines of the 13th Kazakhstan Machine Builders Forum.

Aidos Seitzhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of KazAgroFinance JSC, delivered a presentation, presenting a strategic vision for transforming the leasing industry.

With over 26 years of experience, KazAgroFinance is currently setting the pace for the renewal of the country's machinery fleet. In his speech, Aidos Seitzhanov emphasized that 2026 will be a year of large-scale support: a record 300 billion tenge is planned for domestic equipment under the "Preferential Leasing" program alone. A 5% annual interest rate and the option to pay upfront using subsidies make these instruments as accessible as possible for farmers.

Farmers also receive support through the "Made in Kazakhstan" program (6%) and the specialized "Own Feed" program (6%), which covers forage harvesting equipment and irrigation systems. The "Agroleasing" program, with a 12.6% interest rate, is available to farmers for a wide range of needs, including the acquisition of specialized equipment and unmanned aerial vehicles.

Expanding funding for water-saving technologies will be an important development area.

Global digitalization will be a key development vector. Aidos Seitzhanov announced plans to completely transition to online review of all applications and integrate digital solutions into all company processes.
