The Kostanay branch of JSC "KazAgroFinance" has celebrated its 25th anniversary.

The Kostanay regional branch is one of the first in the structure of KazAgroFinance. Over 25 years of operation, more than 243 billion tenge have been invested in the region, and nearly 10,000 units of equipment have been provided through leasing. This was stated by the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "KazAgroFinance," Aidar Prashev, during a meeting with Kostanay region’s agricultural producers in honor of the branch's 25th anniversary.
The event was attended by Arman Abenov, Deputy Akim of Kostanay Region; Niyaz Koshkimbaev, Managing Director of the "Baiterek" National Managing Holding JSC; and Nurlan Dautov, Director of the Department at "Agrarian Credit Corporation" JSC.
In his welcome speech, Niyaz Koshkimbaev, Managing Director of "Baiterek" Holding, emphasized that supporting the agro-industrial complex has always been and remains one of the key priorities of the Holding.
"This year, the amount of financing allocated through the Agrarian Credit Corporation and KazAgroFinance is unprecedented — about 700 billion tenge, of which 200 billion is designated for agricultural machinery leasing. This is a systemic response to the growing needs of agribusiness and to the state's goal of ensuring food security," he stated.
Nurlan Dautov, Director of the Department of Financing for Financial Institutions and Counterparties at Agrarian Credit Corporation, spoke about preferential financing in the agro-industrial sector. He presented the main conditions and requirements of the "Ken Dala" and "Ken Dala 2" programs, which aim to support farmers during spring fieldwork and harvest seasons.
Aidar Prashev, Chairman of the Management Board of KazAgroFinance, said that the company continues to implement preferential programs such as "Preferential Leasing" at 5% annual interest, "Made in Kazakhstan," "Local Feed," and others — all offering farmers accessible options for upgrading their agricultural equipment fleets. He shared the results of the Kostanay branch’s work.
"The Kostanay branch ranks first among all regions in terms of loan portfolio volume — 81.4 billion tenge. This reflects high activity and trust from local farmers. The branch serves 1,201 agricultural producers, primarily small and medium-sized businesses. Over the past 25 years, nearly 10,000 units of equipment worth 225 billion tenge have been delivered," he said.
During the meeting, agricultural producers posed questions to the speakers, and representatives of development institutions, in turn, received feedback directly from the field.
