Farmers began to receive preferential loans for the purchase of domestic agricultural machinery

Kazakh farmers began to receive preferential loans for the purchase of domestic agricultural equipment. This opportunity is provided to them by the KazAgro holding, reports a  Khabar 24 correspondent .

The new program was launched a month ago so that farmers could save costs during quarantine.

Now, small and medium-sized businesses need support more than ever. KazAgroFinance JSC, which is engaged in leasing agricultural equipment throughout the country, understands this and tries as much as possible to help rural entrepreneurs. For this purpose, a program of preferential financing for the leasing of agricultural machinery was developed. Farmers were given the opportunity to receive a loan at a rate of 6% per annum for a period of 10 years, without providing collateral. There is only one condition - you need to purchase domestically produced equipment.

Batyrbek Syzdyk, head of the agriculture department of the Otyrar district:

- The grace period for leasing payments is 1 year, and the advance payment due to government support in the form of investment subsidies is 0%. It's very profitable. It is also worth noting that the KazAgro holding does not suspend operations and continues to serve entrepreneurs during the quarantine period.

The new program will not only renew the fleet of agricultural producers, but will also give a new impetus to the development of domestic mechanical engineering, say representatives of KazAgroFinance.

Muratkhan Sharipbekov, deputy head of the peasant farm:

- Our peasant farm is engaged in growing alfalfa and corn. Thanks to preferential financing, we purchased a tractor and a baler. The terms of the loan turned out to be favorable; in the future we will definitely cooperate with KazAgroFinance.

Until June 15, the Kazagrofinance company provides deferments to small and medium-sized businesses not only under loan agreements, but also financial leasing without charging penalties.
